The seminar on the contribution of women to Kuchipudi, organised by Shambhavi School of Dance, brought in speakers like the legendary danseuse Dr. Yamini Krishnamurthi, Kottapalli Padma, Suvarna Latha, Anuradha Janolgodda, Usha R.K. and Vyjayanthi Kashi — each representing a different generation and speaking about their journey through dance.
Whether you have pretty performing feet that can’t stay static or two left feet but a galloping heart eager to learn what it takes to sway in style, the Dancejatre 2013 has something for everyone in whose hearts the word dance rings any bell. A brain child of an accomplished dance veteran Vyjayanthi Kashi, the festival is a melting pot of various forms of dance and will host various events and workshops circling around dance.
Kuchipudi dance feature conceptualized and choreographed by the renowned Kuchipudi danseuse Vyjayanthi Kashi knit in a series of short yet interesting stories glorifying Indian culture.
